EVALUATE
In an effort of continual improvment, ECORIDER has undertaken the first ever bilan carbone (greenhouse gas emissions evaluation) in its business sector; A PIONEERING STANCE.

REDUCE
An evaluation of this type measures the impact the activity has on the local environment allowing an action plan to be put into place to reduce emissions.

COMPENSATE
ECORIDER off-sets its greenhouse gas emissions by planting trees with an aim of achieving zero emissions.

OTHER ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIONS

 

In order to maintain its green credentials ECORIDER SKI SCHOOL follows many initiatives towards sustainable development.

- ski instructors uniforms are made from eco-friendly recycled textiles
- the use of less polluting forms of transport
- ski park of Dynastar test skis (made in the Savoy regions)
- skis and boards are waxed with petrol-free materials (raw materials sourced in the Rhone Alpes region)
- enhancing the image of local resources (economy, tourism, local suppliers…)
